Breaking News -The Motorcycle Shark Plate is Going Into Production!
Thanks to all of you, we’ve hit our number and the ASI motorcycle Shark Plate is finally going into production at the RI DMV! The Shark Plate will be the first charity plate ever made available to motorcycle owners in the State of RI and we have many of you to thank!
As was the case with the passenger, combination and commercial versions of the plate, we will have a distribution party where folks can pick up their plates. Right now the DMV is estimating that the motorcycle plates will be ready in May, just in time for the summer season. We will be in touch on that as the date moves closer.
We are going to take motorcycle orders for another week and then send the file off to the RI DMV for this inaugural batch of plates to be made. So, please tell all your motorcycle friends to order one, post it on social media, share it with your motorcycle clubs, share it on Facebook motorcycle groups and any other place that you can think of!
As a reminder, the ASI is a volunteer agency, nobody is paid, and 100% of every donation goes directly into research efforts. We’ve had some amazing discoveries in RI just in the last season and we couldn’t get this work done without your support. As we say here at the ASI,
